Artist's Description
Parfrey's Glen is located on the south east end of Devil's Lake State Park in Baraboo, WI. The glen is a hidden gem that few people go to. A few years ago the frequent flooding in Parfrey's Glen forced the DNR to curb spending on repairs within the gorge proper. Hikers wishing to continue up to the waterfall must navigate a stream and rough stone.
About Chuck De La Rosa
Welcome! My fascination with photography is linked to my fascination with the things around me, what I see. The shapes. The colors. The textures. The grandeur of a mountain scene, the solitude of a flowing water fall, the sadness and beauty of an abandoned but once useful building. And the ability to capture it all on a digital sensor. I visualize, even before I press the shutter, the final framed print showing the wonder and detail of what I saw when I was there. In these galleries you will find scenic and landscape photos, abandoned architecture, the Milwaukee Art Museum and surrounding area, as well as many photos of Door County, WI. An area I call the jewel of Wisconsin. Thank you for visiting! I hope you enjoy your visit and ask...
