Horseshoe Island is in Green Bay and part of Peninsula State Park in Fish Creek, WI which is in the Door County peninsula. The view is from an overlook in Peninsula State Park on a gorgeous autumn weekend.

Welcome! My fascination with photography is linked to my fascination with the things around me, what I see. The shapes. The colors. The textures. The grandeur of a mountain scene, the solitude of a flowing water fall, the sadness and beauty of an abandoned but once useful building. And the ability to capture it all on a digital sensor. I visualize, even before I press the shutter, the final framed print showing the wonder and detail of what I saw when I was there.
