It was a bitter cold January morning. As the sun rises it burns off the wall of "steam fog", formed because the temperature of Lake Michigan is warmer than the bitter cold air of winter.

Welcome! My fascination with photography is linked to my fascination with the things around me, what I see. The shapes. The colors. The textures. The grandeur of a mountain scene, the solitude of a flowing water fall, the sadness and beauty of an abandoned but once useful building. And the ability to capture it all on a digital sensor.
