Description
The Tuolumne (pronounced "too-AH-lum-ee") bridge is near Parson's Lodge in Tuolumne Meadows which is in Yosemite National Park. It spans the Tuolumne River and is part of the hiking trail from Tioga Road to Parson Lodge. It was built in Sept 1915 as the plaque on the side of the bridge states. Tuolumne Meadows is a somewhat lesser known and less explored part of the park than Yosemite Valley, yet offers some of the most beautiful places in the park.
